Quality and Environment

We adhere to strict internal quality control measures. We utilize a salt spray cabinet to test the corrosion resistance of products. In the salt spray cabinet, the corrosion process is accelerated, and the result is the number of hours each coating and pre-treatment combination can withstand the stress. We also have our own laboratory where we daily monitor that the concentrations of the pre-treatment baths meet the chemical supplier's requirements.

The staff at Polttoväri are trained to handle chemicals. We have designated responsible personnel trained in chemical handling. We ensure environmental cleanliness by treating process water according to environmental permits in our own wastewater treatment plant.

We continuously train our staff on occupational safety matters. New employees are thoroughly oriented to their tasks, and this orientation is deepened during their employment. We care about each other and look after one another – community is a core strength of Polttoväri.
